This cottage kitchen has exposed stone walls that we didn't want to hide. We made a set of painted units with simple panelled doors and cup handles, raised on short legs so the slate floor runs underneath.
Thick solid oak worktops wrap round into a breakfast bar, and a matching plate rack sits above the sink. It's a hardworking family kitchen that looks like it's always been there.
