A big, light-filled room called for a kitchen with presence. We designed a wall of tall in-frame cabinets around the ovens, with a hidden appliance cupboard behind pocket doors and a pull-out larder alongside.
The island is painted a deep blue-grey with tongue-and-groove panelling on the seating side, topped with a striking granite that carries through to the perimeter worktops. Glazed wall cabinets keep the corners light.
“Every drawer and door closes like the day it was fitted. You can tell it's been made properly, by people who care.”
