Guy and Louisa wanted a kitchen that felt bright and calm but still had warmth. We built the run of cabinets and the tall larder doors in a soft painted finish, then made the island from solid ash so the grain could do the talking.
The island houses a Belfast sink on one side and open shelving for cookbooks and pots on the other, so it works hard without looking busy. Brushed brass handles and a quartz worktop tie it all together.
